+m. gets invited to Google +

My Google +

My Google +

I received my invite to Google+ this morning in my inbox and quickly signed up. The only problem is I don’t use a gmail account, or Hotmail or Yahoo!….so when it comes to finding my friends, it is looking a bit bare. I don’t think Facebook is in a hurry to help google with a Friends importer, so for the meantime my google+ is not adding up to much yet.

Though I did have a look at interests and the search integration is quite seamless and non intrusive to the overall experience.

For me the jury is still out….why should I “+” yet another social network if it essentially doing much the same as Facebook.

+m. portfolio refreshed and given the WordPress treatment!

I have changed over from my very 2008 Flash built site and transformed into a much more 2011 using the oh so easy to update CMS site that is WordPress!

Why has it taken so long you may ask?

Well I have been based in London working with the lovely book publishers Random House and developing my digital portfolio and skills there and now that I am heading back to Sydney I thought it would be a good time to get my site back up and running.

At the moment, you can view some of my projects from my time working at Random House, but  I will be adding more content and musings about all things digital in the coming weeks!
